I was born in Athens, Greece. I studied piano with Igor Taraschansky at the National Conservatory of Athens where I got my piano diploma. After receiving a Bachelor from the University of Athens (Department of Primary Education) I worked as a teacher in public elementary schools. Then I went to the Netherlands where I obtained a Master's degree in piano performance at the Conservatory of Utrecht, having studied with Martyn van den Hoek. As a performing musician I focus my attention on the 20th century and the music of today. I work closely with composers and there have been piano works written for me by Nikos Ioakeim, Frank Nuyts, Miranda Driessen, Michalis Paraskakis and Katarzyna Szwed. I perform solo as well as in ensembles (e.g. the Emanon Ensemble, the Nieuw Ensemble, Ensemble Looptail and the Utrechts Blazers Ensemble). My collaborations also include projects in the terrain of theatre, dance and improvised music. I have played in various concert halls and festivals mainly in the Netherlands and Greece and also in Belgium, Spain and the UK. In Summer 2017 I co-founded TETTTIΞ (pronounced tétttix), an ensemble for contemporary music and music theatre, based in Athens, Greece. In November 2016 I was awarded the Young Artist 2016 Prize by the Union of Greek Critics for Drama and Music.
